Thank you for your participation in the Allegheny County Department of Human Services Digital Divide Program.
Unfortunately, as Covid-19 related funding winds down, DHS will no longer be able to support the distribution of laptops and wi-fi hotspots to clients in need. We appreciate your dedication to your clients in helping them get important resources. We hope the program was able to help our clients access DHS services as well as other benefits of connectivity during its operation for the last two years.
While this program is ending, there are still a number of other programs in place to help people in our community get affordable computers and internet access.
The Federal Affordable Connectivity Program
Offers reduced price broadband access and vouchers toward discounts on laptops

Carnegie Public Libraries and Allegheny County Libraries
Offer public computer labs and free Wi-Fi. Many also allow users to borrow "Chromebook bundles" which include laptops and hotspots. Be advised waitlists are often in place for the bundles.

Thanks again for your participation in the program. The DHS IT team who managed it are grateful for your patience and good humor, making this their favorite program to work on, even during the chilly days of the outdoor distributions through the winter of 2020-2021
